I Jamal Khursheed started my course of BFD in 2011. The experience at IADM has been an immortal frame of sweet and sour memories that I will cherish throughout my life. The friends I made the teachers I had who are more of friends now are the best things that happened to me. The management has always been a helping hand throughout the course in total it’s an experience I’ll never nor do I want to forget. Whatever I have been taught and learned at IADM has been a great help though practically things are slightly different as during course we worked on more creative surfaces as we were exploring mediums and surfaces but in practical life, one has to cater to the masses so things have to be wearable and more functional.
I discovered my string edge and got to know what I am best at which is couture work, and I have been fortunate enough to work with the country’s most renowned designers like Nilofer Shahid and Erum khan where I got to learn. A lot about practicality and finish trimming details for which a designer is known but I was very certain and sure that I would not lead myself to jobs, just did to learn and gain experience and now by the grace of Allah Almighty and my family support I have my own label which caters bridal, formal, semi-formal and luxury Pret. And I’m doing good and hopefully will keep doing so and will let my Institute and my teachers be proud of me and In Sha Allah, a day will come when Mr. Gohar Pirzada will say Jamal is a shining star of our institute I think that will the day of my life. To some up, I would suggest my juniors just believe in themselves and never give up trust me if you dream big you achieve big just put in your best and leave the rest on Allah
